Helen Crawford lived in this house for over forty years. After her death, the new tenants, not able to find any relatives, had a yard sale to clear the house of her belongings. I looked at Helen’s portrait resting under the tree in the front lawn where she would often sit. It was as if she was taking one last look at the old neighborhood before going away forever.
