SLOW DAY

LACMA-GUARD-SITS

It was a slow day. The museum guard rested among the large abstract paintings. He never cared for abstract art. He was more comfortable when assigned to the landscape paintings of William Turner. He felt the Turner paintings were like a window to another time and he was happy to be bathed in their warm light. At the end of his day, something inside his head began to happen. He began to drift into the landscape of of the abstract.
