PAYOFFS ON EARTH

Stan and Kimberly Wilkerson had led lives of quiet suburban boredom. They were well into their retirement years when they decided to have one last all out crazy time. It would actually be their first all out crazy time. They drove from Sacramento to Las Vegas non stop and on their arrival, proceeded to live the good life as they played quarter slot machines, ate one dollar shrimp cocktails, watched acrobats float above the air and listened to a Nat King Cole impersonator sing their favorite song, Unforgettable. As they stood on the street that day, they looked at a sign that said PAYOFFS ON EARTH. Stanley took Kimberly’s hand, they walked to the car and drove back to Sacramento non stop where they would have one last all out crazy time that would last the rest of their lives.
