KID SISYPHUS

Billy’s childhood was filled with anxiety. His therapist suggested he take all his worries, fears and anger, roll them into an imaginary boulder, push them up an imaginary hill and then leave them all behind.  It was hoped this little mental exercise would help relieve him from the weight of his despair. So every day, Billy pushed his imaginary boulder up the imaginary hill. Over time, Billy came to realize, perhaps it was easier just to have an imaginary happy life.
