As a young boy, Carlos Sandoval discovered the ability to levitate inches above the ground. He could literally float around his room, but only when his mind felt unburdened. The last time he was able to do this was at twelve years old on the occasion of his first kiss from the girl who lived down the street. As time went on, the weight of the world began to hold him down. He had now been earthbound for sixty years. At the request of a friend, Carlos attended a concert in the park where he danced all night with a beautiful woman. As they parted, she kissed him on the cheek – and on that night Carlos floated the entire way home.
