Inspired by the cinema of film noir, Kooperman felt he had what it takes to become a private detective. The life of a private detective was not all he had imagined. Under his coat he carried a note pad and pencil not a .38 revolver. His days and nights were spent watching the movements of lovers and spouses under suspicion. Being a private dick was tons of paperwork and an endless cup of bad coffee. This was not The Big Sleep, this was The Big Nap. The funny thing is, for this exact work, Kooperman actually did have what it takes.
