CONVERSATIONS

Except for the voices in his head, he could not remember the last time he had a real conversation. He preferred isolation, but there were times when he missed the company of others. He would walk into the city, go into a bar or coffeehouse and talk with complete strangers for hours. Sometimes it was enlightening or funny, but at the end, he would walk alone on the beach and enjoy the divine sound of the ocean, the birds, the wind and the voices in his head.
