I sometimes wonder if we are the only planet with the phenomenon known as music. Years ago, the spacecraft Voyager 1 was sent out to explore the solar system. It contained a gold disc with the sounds of earth including the likes of Bach and Little Richard. It is my hope that some distant alien civilization will hear this and know we have something more than intelligence, we have soul. So when the day comes for first contact, perhaps we should be represented by a musician. Think of that first cosmic song between two worlds.
