It’s easy to write a blues song if your love leaves or you have a body part missing like a leg or eye, but lately Muddy Boy Johnson had become so unbelievably happy it became impossible to think of sad things. His recent blues songs about everyday life, Waitin’ For The Lube Job and Doggie Door Blues would have been total failures had people not mistakenly thought they were sexual metaphors.
