SUPERHERO

The first time he tried on the mask and cape, something deep within him felt right. It wasn’t just the cape happened to be his favorite towel, although that didn’t hurt. It was now life had purpose. He would travel through space and time fighting evil and injustice. He was a superhero and there was no turning back. Except, eventually he did turn back. What caused him to leave the fantastical life of superheroes? Was it the public scrutiny or having to hide his secret identity from his imaginary girlfriend? Could it have been the epic battles against his nemesis, The Mighty Timmy or the discovery of his weakness for all things chocolaty? No, it was something completely different. It turned out that his Kryptonite was self doubt.
